This book just isn't my cup of tea, so I'm bailing around the 12% mark.
I really like this author's Guild Codex series, which features adults. I didn't understand from the blurb that this was YA (she's 18). The FMC actually comes across feeling even younger because she's incredibly innocent and sheltered, with an overly simplistic narrative. That's a trifecta of stuff I particularly don't like to read, so I'm bowing out now. ...more
