I liked this one better than the first. It was crazy fast, still - again, I'm reasonably sure the whole book happened in a day, maybe two - but the characters had a clear progression and went through demonstrable shifts, so at least things felt less glossed over.
And as with book 1, I love all the elements of this series - the characters, the story, the location. I'm not sure about all these 40 year olds getting pregnant as a plot element, though ... it makes it feel like there's no family withou ...more

This is Dana and Jeffrey's story, we get a little bit from their past but then it picks right up from the last book.
What I enjoyed:
* Both Dana and Jeffrey have been players, so seeing them fall into something deeper is nice
* Love Dana's grandmother and her friends
* Really enjoying Marcy's weirdness so looking forward to her book, but not thrilled with who her mate is
What could have been better:
* I really want to learn more about the town and inhabitants. With these stories taking place over a da ...more
