It was fun, though Chloe is weirdly slow on the uptake at some points, and at others she's super smart and on the ball.
Like, despite Noctus calling himself a Kingslayer, it took her FOREVER to put together what happened in the war. And the why is fairly obvious too - he clearly sided against the elves.
But then conversely, she figured out what was going on with the artifacts and even where their base is SUPER fast. But believably fast. Like, I had niggles too after the explosion she heard.

The beginning felt slow, but it was definitely necessary. Just keep going and you'll enjoy some laughs as well.
Loved this world building and can't wait to read the next one!

The situation was very entertaining but the reveal sadly did not deliver. That’s why four stars.
