I grabbed this KU loaner b/c ratings were high, reviews were good and I was in the mood for something new-to-me. I had a hard time getting past Pip's constant "I'm not part of the pack", "I don't fit in anywhere" mentality when it was obvious the pack adored her and saw her as part of the pack. But, once I accepted her unfounded, depressive fear the story moved more quickly and I found myself really liking the world Shea's created.
