This is my favourite book in this series. It is about John Matthew, Xhex, Lash, Darius, Tohrment and Payne. I cannot wait for the next and am hoping that Blay and Qhuinn will finally get together??!!

Lover Mine (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #8) by J.R. Ward

I enoyed learning about Darius, and the history surrounding Thorment and Xhex. I loved the scenes featuring John and Xhex. That's about it. Most of the subplots bored me. Sorry, Ms. Ward and BDB fans. This particular episode in the BDB soap opera didn't work for me. ...more

It was wonderful to finally read John Matthew's story. The book had a interesting weave of past and present, revealing how some ties are echoes/mirrors of others: John and Xhex, John and Tohr, Darius and Tohr ...
