I really enjoyed this book. Sadly there was probably a good year between this one and the first, so it took me a bit to remember what happened in the first (aside from the love story part).
The thing I did not like the most about this book was that Wrath and Beth only made cameo appearances, especially Beth. I got to know them so well in the first that I still wanted to see them. Rhage's story, book #2 in the BDB series, is another of my favorites. I really felt Rhage's struggles and shed a few tears for him. Ward makes her characters believeable and intriguing.
