About time I did a review for this one.
The Black Dagger Brotherhood is a brilliant idea very well executed by master author J.R. Ward. Lots of fan clubs etc dedicated to both the series and the WARDen.

Re-Read: 3 stars (08/31/2020)
This is the 2nd book I've reread this week, and it's another example of how mood or life changes affect how you interpret what your reading (or maybe it's age).
I didn't particularly like anyone in this book. For some reason most characters, especially Beth, Butch, and Wrath, all came off as judgmental to me. Or maybe they were just jumping to too many conclusions.
I kept trying to tell myself that maybe I would have assumed Wrath was in the Mob or a drug dealer if I ...more

I'm very guilty of liking good HOT stuff lately. Well, probably any HOT stuff would cut it for me nowadays, but this is the good kind. The first half of the book is great, and even if it turns out a little mushy by the end, it's a great story, from both the romantic and the paranormal viewpoints.

I really enjoyed this book and will definitely continue with the series, but there are a few things about the vampires in this book that I am not keen on. I like the classic myths when it comes to vampires and this is completely different. Still a good book though.
And so my urban fantasy binge continues!! I really enjoyed this book - was quick easy and fun read.
