Cozy mystery, dormant power, the most powerful witch is waking up or blacking out from a power overload.
A fun follow-up to the first book in this series. A lot more is learned about Defiance and Ruthie, as well as other characters. I appreciated the history that unfolded throughout the book. However, there were some parts that dragged for me and Defiance asked like a brat a little too often. She needs to stop and listen to those around her. However at 45 years old, she’s not likely to learn that any time soon. 😁
