When is a horror book not just a horror book? When it's able to convey the intricacies of female friendships as well as this book did. I'm not gonna lie - This book legit scared me, so much so I refused to read it before bedtime. But it was so much more than scares and thrills. I loved that all the characters were fleshed out, that you could see their role in the relationships, both theirs flaws and weaknesses.
