Mercy and Adam, just married, go on their honeymoon. What could happen? Well, it turns out certain supernaturals encouraged this trip. There is a monster that lives in the river that it killing people. So, I think you can guess who is tasked with handling it.
I can't believe I'm giving this a 3. But, it was harder for me to get into. It was easy to put down and I got distracted easily. I really liked Mercy learning more about her heritage. These were the best parts of the book. What I missed, was ...more

I can't believe I waited as long as I did to read this series. I read the first book, Moon Called, over a year or so ago and just walked away. I liked the book, but I was on this kick of not reading any books in a series back to back for fear of character overdose. I allowed another series to taint my thinking that way, but this year I woke up and realized that some characters are like your friends, they might irk you here and there, but they are stuck to your soul and your friends no matter wha

This is has been the least enjoyable book in the series for me. What is so great about the characters in this series the character development, and oddly for such a revealing book, what was missing from this one. We learn a lot about Mercy's past, but there is almost no development from Mercy on these revelations. It is striking in a series that made itself distinct for character development. Loved it, loved it, loved it!!!!

I don't think I liked this book as much as the others, Adam gets in the way a lot. I like that she's married and happy now, but I felt like this whole book was nothing but Adam worrying about Mercy. I enjoyed it though, I'll definately read the next one. I read the first book from her other series and I liked that one a lot too. I hope her two series don't become so similar that they're predictable. I like how Mercedes was a loner and Alpha & Omega were a team.

Im really giving this book 4.5 stars. I like it a lot, but it was a little slow for me. Also, I missed having some of the characters in it even though I liked the new characters. I liked that there was more focus on Adam and Mercy, but I also missed some of the drama that the author normally includes with them. I really liked the ending though. I can't wait for the next book to come out!

It's Mercy Thompson! Love her.
This is pretty much an Adam/Mercy story. Which I enjoyed. I liked not having the triangle. I liked not angsting over Sam and his well being. It was great to just enjoy Adam and Mercy. ...more
