In Urban Fantasy, Mercy is one of the stars. She is clever, reflective, and loyal. She is ordinary and extra ordinary all that the same time. She is also so so funny. The slow build of this love story of several books is something to cherish. Brigg's world building should be a model for all of the writer's in this genre.

Patricia Briggs is a very brave author to put Mercy into that storyline, even if it's tough as a female to read. I admire her writing skills. I will be continuing the series. ...more
