I liked but didn’t love this book. The odd throwback history for Cat just seemed a bit contrived for me and the constant bickering and distrust between Bones and Cat got a bit old. However, in the end, Bones and Cat aired some of their dirty laundry and hopefully future books will have a “healthier” relationship between the two. I read these this summer. In one big gulp. The fourth one was my least favorite. I am still in love with Bones and Cat. I just do not know why she did not deal with the situation sooner. Any more said would give it away.
