A lot happens in this installment and similar to the first, I'm worried my review would be nothing but spoilers. So much has happened since I met Grier and she's done nothing but impress me. I cannot wait to learn more. After binging on all three of these books back-to-back, I'm left ~~wondering~~ wailing, 😩 No book 4? When's it coming out?

Hailey Edwards has done a good job of lurin' me in, hittin' me with the feels and then leavin' me hanging. No it's not a cliffhanger, it's a heart hanger. My heart breaks for Grier. I know Edwards will find a way to soothe the wound, but I won't know how she does that for how long? Months? Hopefully not more than a few.

Grier has put up with a lot lately. But she now has Boaz in her corner, or does she?

Amelie, his sister, and her BFF, has been sentenced to 6 months under Grier's roof by the Society Council, for her crimes. Amelie is going a little stir crazy, but is getting phone calls from Boaz every 2nd day. Meanwhile, Grier hasn't heard from him at all.

Linus is still in the Carriage House, giving Grier magic lessons every night, and feeding her before they start. I mentioned at the end of book #2's review I ...more
