DNF - I was crazy excited to start this book. There must be a few hundred praising reviews about Cat and Bones and their epic hotness. What did I get from it? Buffy. Now, Frost says that her character Bones is of absolutely no relation to Spike from BtVS. Well, even if that is the case, Bones is still his literary twin. People can come up with similar concepts independent from each other - I know. But seriously? A bleached, accented, cocky, luv'-and-darlin'-saying vampire? One was enough.

I am giving my 1st 5 star rating this year and it is going to a FABULOUS book. I loved this book pretty much the whole way through. I laughed at the hilarious wit, I felt sorrow for Cat with how she grew up but at the same time I did not pity her because she took what was given to her and grew with it into what she is. There was quite a bit of gore, exquisite fight scenes, steamy sex scenes and very tender, heart grabbing love scenes. Why is this book not an HBO series? Cat can KICK ASS, she doe

I loved this book!! Finally i have found a series of books to get hooked on after reading the sookie stackhouse and Anita Blake series. A perfect combination of action, sex and romance.. This book was fast paced and was never boring. Several funny moments along the way also... I cannot wait to start the next book!
