This book should come with a warning label: do not read while driving, operating heavy machinery, or on a ten minute break at work! Seriously. When our heroine and her gorgeous vampire beau finally have their big consummation, I was between classes and practically needed a defibrillator before I could face my second-period students.
In fact, that was a problem. Cat and Bones are very endearing, and their passion for each other is contagious. To be blunt (and I usually am!) I wanted a few more Goo ...more

I got caught up in the story immediately and read it straight through, carried by the action and emotion.
Cat is a kick a$$ heroine with a unique background and a touching mix of vulnerability and bravado. Bones (who reminds me a lot of Spike) is a few hundred years old and as they work together he breaks down Cat's prejudices and a relationship develops.

The only reason it took me so long to read this book was because I had a hard time finding it. The second one was always in stock, and then the third one came out. Luckily, I got my hands on this one. There were points I was laughing out loud and even the sex scenes didn't bother me too much. I am really glad to have the second book on hand so I could start it immediately after finishing this one.

This book had me hooked from the very beginning. Loved her pickup line and his initial reaction to it. I love Cat and Bones. I love how you can practically hear Bones' voice as his British accent comes through very clearly in the writing. The ending blew me away. I was pretty surprised. Couldn't wait to get my hands on the second one.

What a wonderful start to a wonderful Series.
I have fallen in love with bones.... and timmy.
one hot and sexy and the other oh so cute.
Cat is a Half Vamp and Half Human. who kills vampires to avenge her mothers date rape.
she picks up bones and from this moment onwards she is immediately torn about him. she loves him .... she loves him not.
slightly frustrating(just go with bones). this book has all the big boxes checked for me.
Loveable Characters.... Check
Humor.... Check
Strong Heroine....check
