A Rush of Wings had the potential to be a totally awesome paranormal novel: It was set in New Orleans, which in my opinion is the perfect place for things that go bump in the night. A little rocky on the start, the cadence hard to get a grasp on and the POV shifts a little sudden. But, after a chapter or two you get to know the characters, and feel of the writing, and the shifts really help give you insight into all the characters which truly become very three deminsional. I really liked this one, it:s more like 4.5 then 4 but I:ve decided to take one for the beging and for retrospections.. the retrospetions take almost 1/3 of the book and it:s too much as for me... I really do like heather and dante they both are stubborn but in the good way and they know what they want ;P I also liked the plot but I had problems with getting used to 3rd person:s different POV...

Good book love how it's told in more the one characters perspective. Dantes character develop's through out the whole story and you get to see the person he truly is though I wish it talked a little more about heather's sister I was curious to see if heather's sister was a "Night kind".

Amazing!! One of my new favorite UF books.
I don't think I've ever read about a more tortured hero then Dante.
