I love this series. This one was much better than Dead in the Family. It felt like she took some time with this one. Family felt rushed and just thrown together to get another book out. We finally hear some more of Sookie's past and how she ended up telepathic. Not much of Bill and Jason in this one.

I had mixed feelings about this one, I found it better than the last one but Charlaine has confused me in her actions concerning Sookie & Eric's relationship. It was good to finally put an end to some of the story lines but in doing so, she has opened up even more! All the usual suspects where in the book or at least mentioned in passing. It's becoming increasingly difficult to keep the "Southern Vampire Mysteries" seperate from "True Blood" in my head! Probably because I started this series aro
