What Members Thought

I haven't read many YA books. I don't think I can count on one hand the number I have read, but I am starting to read more. I really enjoyed this book. I liked the story and the characters. I will be reading the next book :) And as a side note: this is one of my favorite covers of all time. It is so dramatic, love it!

I felt so left out during the release of Crescendo last year because I hadn't gotten a chance to read Hush, Hush. Now, however, I can see why everyone was so hyped and excited for a sequel! Happy to know that The Mad Scientist (Steampunkery & Book Reviews) is generous enough to send me a copy of Crescendo. Thanks, MS!

I have not read many books with angels and I think it's my first series with fallen angels.
Let me say it this way I started the book in the morning and finished it later hat same night.
In most of the book I was just as confused as the main character you just wanted to know what is going on.
A lot of things happened and I felt one of the side characters could have been left out and maybe been in the next book instead. There was just a lot of loose ends that had to be tied together very fast in the ...more

Unexpected! To say the least. I admit, began the book with a vague impression of a new Twilight, but quickly found that impression to be misleading. While it is a supernatural-romance, I found it to be darker and more enjoyable. The main character, Nora, is strong and resourceful contrasting greatly to Patch who is dark and brooding. I loved the slightly sinister edge to it as well as the fast pace of the novel. Found it to be original and captivating and will definitely be looking for the next

Damn!!
The story started sooo good and it kept getting better and better until about 30 pages before the end.
what a terrible ending, it felt like the author ran out of inspiration or something... I was seriously hoping for a great ending which would make it an excellent book but in the end, I got disapointed.

I just started this book today and I loved it so much that I couldn't put it down. Nora and Patch spin a hauntingly beautiful love story...
