Was really tossing up between 4 and 5 stars on this one. It left a very good feel, no slack spots and yet I feel the author will do better in the books to follow, so I need to leave room. LOL.

Not a bad read. Yes, it does remind me of the Black Dagger Brothers, due to the warriors names. Which, can I be honest? WHY on earth would you name your characters their animal names, only trying to be different by adding an 'H' or an extra "x" I mean really? Will it hurt their reputations if you name them something normal like Cade? Xavier? Anything but Lyon, Paenther, Hawke... Bleh. OK that being said, I found that the comparisons ended at the names for similarities between this PNR and other

This is my first Pamela Palmer book, and I'd have to say it was a good book!
