Ah, William. *sigh* This troubled werewolf (sorry, changeling) is just what the world needs. He keeps such a tight leash on himself, afraid to give in to his nature/desires because he fears mis-interpreting human reactions. But when he falls in love, he falls hard. The second installment of one of my favourite authors Ilona Andrews was not dissappointing. Generally I don't like spin offs as I find them a bit disturbing and boring.So I reluctently picked this on up as it had such great reviews but I have to say I was sucked it.

I was a little disappointed by this second novel in The Edge series. I had read so many reviews that it was better than the first. Don't get me wrong. I liked it, but not as much as the first one. Maybe it's because I liked Declan and Rose better. Maybe it's because I was in the mood for PNR and the first was PNR the way I'd imagine Ilona Andrews to do. But this one was definitely UF. It took me a long time to read - unfortunately another series came in between. But I finished and started reading again and what can I say - it's great! I would call it a tie between this and the first book although I enjoyed William a lot more than Declan - I'm all for the dark, brooding guys!
