Loved this story! It was active, and romantic, and very visceral. The romance was the best part of course, between a wounded hero and equally wounded heroine, but the fantasy plot, the world building and the characters that Andrews peopled the book with guaranteed it was a speedy, and very enjoyable, read. I really love this series and its world. Bayou meets Camelot in a paranormal urban (rural?) fantasy. William is a danged near perfect character - indeed all the characters came to life, even the minor ones. Good stuff. :)
