4.5* I read this in one day and am dying for the next one!! These authors can do no wrong I have loved every book that I have read by them!
This book was really interesting. I felt like it moved at a slow pace and was extremely explanatory about things at times.. However, I didn't seem to mind much because I really enjoyed the world Ms. Andrews created as well as the characters. I love that Rose is strong, courageous and most of all loyal to those she loves. I'm looking forward to reading the next in the series. ...more

Very simple review it was a great start to a new series. I really liked Declan and Rose they were good together and the kids.
Fast read, well written and it was action packed with lots going on with you learning about the new world that Ilona is writing about.

This was seriously different. The world settings were so well thought out and I enjoyed it immensely. The magic system was unique, and so far I haven't came across anything like it. That is a huge compliment from me I have a very hard time finding reads like this, and I wish I could find more like them. I was doing my very own happy dance...

Wow. I didn't think I would like this one since it had no vampires in it ;p, but it did have strange creatures :) A different spin for a take-charge girl with two brothers with equally unique powers.
What I love.. is the romance. :) It was so simple..well except for the challenges. And the last challenge was a whooper which I'm looking forward to in book two.
