You Slay Me introduces us to Aisling Grey. She's off to deliver a statue for her uncle. When she arrives at the buyer's home, she finds her dead. That's not the only surprise that awaits her there, a hottie named Drake is there and he ends up stealing the statue.

This story had some seriously LOL quotes, mainly made by Drake and Jim, Aisling's "dog". Aisling, believing she's just your everyday human, can't understand what's going on when people start calling her "Guardian". Drake turns out to be ...more

Well, I'd say this book is between 3 and 4 stars--it was in need of more editing as quite a few parts were written awkwardly...and at times the plot was pretty obvious. I knew who the guilty party was almos immediately and it was had for me to actually believe Aisling was so blind to it. I know she's supposed to be sort of ditzy but I just couldn't buy it. The world created was interesting and I'll probably read the others but I'm in no rush. ...more
