I rated this 3 and a half stars. Very good start to a new series, although I was a little confused throughout occasionally.

I struggled with this book as you can see by how long it took me to read. I finally got into it 3/4 of the way through it and then it really started moving for me. I rated as a 4 but more likely a 3.5 but I like the overall story and think that I will try the next in the series when I get around to it.
