Very hard to get into. The heroines perspective keeps shifting past to present and was hard to follow. I didn't really enjoy the characters either.

First of all, Kelley Armstrong is a great writer. I love all of her books, so, no bad reviews for her. This is her first book of the Women of the Otherworld series. Elena Michaels is my favorite narrator. This book has the perfect amount of action and romance to keep you wanting more. That's something that I like about Kelley Armstrong's books. Slow parts are there when they need to be, but, they do not drag on. Yes, I do recommend 'Bitten' to anyone.

I'll definitely be reading the next book in the series. ...more

This is another series I've been wanting to start and have had the book on my TBR forever. I am not usually a big fan of first books in series but was pleasantly surprised by this one. I felt like it gave you the background you needed for the series but it wasn't overly complicated or dry. Elena was easy to relate to and was happy there were some love interests.
