Very hard to get into. The heroines perspective keeps shifting past to present and was hard to follow. I didn't really enjoy the characters either.

This one was a bit too slow on the uptake for me. I wanted to put it down at some points and give up. I eventually felt drawn towards the characters, I had to see what was going to happen to them. The pace of the story did eventually pick up. It was a good read, I really enjoy Armstrong's writing. I do hope that they fixed all the typo's in any edition that came out after my version, as there were quite a few..most of them towards the end of the book. First of all, Kelley Armstrong is a great writer. I love all of her books, so, no bad reviews for her. This is her first book of the Women of the Otherworld series. Elena Michaels is my favorite narrator. This book has the perfect amount of action and romance to keep you wanting more. That's something that I like about Kelley Armstrong's books. I liked Elena, who is the main character, she wasn't annoying or just plain blah as most female prota

The narrator was really good for this book. She was unique and has a great way of playing the guys voice as well as the gir ...more
