This is the second of the series, and picks up pretty much where three Days to Dead left off. Evy starts by saying she could happily take two weeks to sleep and put life on hold until then. Yeah, way to jinx yourself! She finds herself promising to protect the last of the Owlkins and finding out who ordered their slaughter.
This book continues with the non-stop action - plenty of fighting, blood, and guts, Evy and Wyatt open up to each other with some touchy-feely moments, and there are enough tw ...more

Intense. :) I think this is a better book than the 1st one. Maybe because the "introduction" is done. At first I thought Truman was super old. That's how I saw him the the first book. Apparently he's not. Hahaha!

She is trying to come to terms with being in another body (with its memories) and her new powers all while trying to figure out who originally wanted the owlkin dead and who is recruiting Dregs to take on the Triads.
Finding out much more of Evy's and Wyatt's past was ...more

Wasn't a fan of the first book but I wanted to give the second book a shot. Glad I did. This one was full of action and I really enjoyed the story. I'm glad I gave it a chance. Going to read the third book next.
