This book was a total waste of time.
The plot wasn't interesting and waaaay too unbelievable, a plastic surgeon who can build a new face from scratch?, and a super handsome face at that... come on?!
The writing was awful!, the characters didn't make sense most of the time...

I hated both of the main characters... Alex was not smart or witty or sassy, she was a mean, senseless, stupid bitch... and Michael was so dull and insipid, I wouldn't have care if he was killed.
And we didn't even get to see Al ...more

Meh. Nothing hugely original. Writing not particularly extrodinary. I did read the whole thing and that counts for something. I give it an average.

Overall, I liked the book. Michael was annoying to me with his repeated (and I mean multiple) attempts to control Alex. I had periods that I thought the book was a 1-2 star and period where it was closer to a 3-4. My main issue(s) were with Michael's very controlling nature. I wanted to slap him. Repeatedly. A 3 for me. I will read the next one, but if the controlling continues, I won't continue with this series. ...more
