And it's GOOOOOOOOOD! This was so damn full of win! I'm just so happy that I found this first book! Good plot, action, and resolution. I will continue the series, but I'm really not so confident that the series will live up to it's first book.

So will this awesome leading lady really retire. Never I refuse.

Great opening to this series! There is so much amazing potential and I love how well defined this world is, as well as fantastic characters!

I really enjoyed this book. It was a quick read - a lot of action, an interesting plot, some romance that added to the book but didn't take away from it. I'm looking forward to reading the second one as the book ended with an interesting revelation. ...more

Didn't hit the mark for me. I'm so disappointed. I really wanted to like the book and fall in love with the series. I think it was that there was too much violence, but it's not like I haven't read and enjoyed books with quite a bit of some type of violence in it. I just don't know. ...more
