What Members Thought
There was a lot going on in this book (A LOT!) and I felt kind of lost sometimes. It is an interesting premise, the execution is just a little shaky. I already bought the next book so I will give it a read to see if it improves.
I had a hard time getting into it at first but I felt it got a lot better at the end. I think some of the earlier parts also hit a little too close to home emotionally and so I kept putting it down to get some distance and part of me dreaded picking it up again and getting another emotional hit. Which is not a bad thing on the writer's part -- kudos to Petersson for being able to do that to me. But it did contribute to my having a hard time getting into it. I plan to read the next book.

I didn't give this book 5 stars only because I'm a little bit skeptical that Olivia/Joanna can kick Shadow butt with stillettos and little pencil skirts on!!...Other that that I do love the book and will continue to read all the books from her!!!
