Well, I'm disappointed.
To be honest, from the ending of book 3, I suspected that I would be. It boils down to Katie's martyr complex. I hate that in a character. I hate that other characters are reinforcing it, particularly because it doesn't make sense ((view spoiler) ...more

This was the fourth book in the Katie Chandler series. It was a lot of fun to read. There was lots of magical warfare, new creatures, and funny scenes.
I read on the author's website that she actually has written part of book 5, but the publishers haven't agreed to publish due to sales figures. That is a bitter shame :(
Go buy these books!!!!! :) ...more

This book concludes Katie's story about her life right after she discovers magic exists and joins the "Microsoft of Magic" as she calls it, a major magic company.
She meets lots of colorful characters, including Merlin (yes, the famous one) and Owen, a young, gorgeous, yet shy and powerful magician who she instantly develops a crush on.
Lots of fun moments, realistic characters and an interesting take on magic. A light and enjoyable series! ...more
