I wasn't sure if I was going to like this book and by the 5 star rating I gave it obviously I loved it. Back in 2021 I soft DNF'd this book and never was interested in picking it up again. My daughter told me I had to read it and then I joined Trick or Treatathon on Discord and needed a book with claw marks. I wanted to get books I owned read and this was the perfect chance to do that.

I was surprised that this took me so long to get through. The pace was a little slow at the beginning and lots of moving pieces. But things picked up by the midway point and the ending was enough to bump it up to 4 stars. Can’t wait to see where the story goes from here!
