Shelly Laurenston has stayed one of my all time favorite writers and this books is a reread fest waiting to happen.
I was sad when the Pride series ended but with this book we can see that did it did not really, it just shifted to focus on these badger shifter sisters. All good.

Charlie, Stevie, Max, Berg
I love when women can kick ass all over the place. These MacKilligan sister definitely could do that, almost without breaking a sweat.
My favorite thing about this book is the relationship between the sisters. They have one another's backs 100%. That's what unconditional love looks like.
Plus, it's funny and there was never a dull moment.
What this book was not, IMO, is a romance. Yes, there is something brewing between Charlie and Berg, but that isn't the focus of this ...more

I really tried to finish this but I really didn't care. I kept waiting for the romance part but instead it was just more and more weirdness/quirkiness with the sisters. It seemed like the author was trying too hard with all these characters and their quirks.
