I enjoyed it, but it was largely what I expected ... Ildiko being a bit tedious. I think the first one was much better.
The relationship angst I sort of get, but she was an ass about it. Her being largely set decoration with no real contribution to anything... that was more meh. It's odd to read a fantasy with a main character that can't fight, can't do magic, nothing to contribute to the overall conflict.

Great follow up to Radiance. Now I need to know what happens to Meggido!
I skimmed, I did. After the joyous romance of the first book the story just sort of plodded along for me.
