Finally I can actually UNDERSTAND why the guy likes the heroine. Most often in Paranormal Romance you have these kickass heroines that are so arrogant and nasty that it is difficult to believe any man would put up with them for a minute. They are like a less charming version of Buffy, this is especially true in YA romance, I suppose because little girls don't yet KNOW that guys( and women) hate it when their partner constantly argues.
