What can I say? Despite the hero being utterly despicable at times, rape and violence and a barbaric world, I ended up falling in love with this book and its hero. Omfg so much emotion, so much crazy, and such a great story. Loved every second of it and can't wait for the next one in the series!

Hummm.... It's just a 4 star because I hate rape scenarios and there are serious f'ed up logic here.
I thought the story would be on Isla and Apollo. It's about Circe and Lahn. From the icy world of the previous book to the scorching habitat KA surely knows how to make her book interesting. You know that it's KA's style to have a happy ending but these books make you second guess it.
The whole language barrier is very entertaining. :) ...more
