This is a re read for me as I forgot what this story was about.

After reading Echoes of Fire - Madisyn's story, I tried to remember what Ryan and Makenna's story was about. Now I understand why it was forgettable.

Sadly, I had way too high expectations for this book after reading Echoes of Fire.

Ryan I liked. I liked his grunts and his possessiveness towards Makenna. He was a man of few words and I liked that about him.

Makenna was just so very meh for me. She never really shined for me ...more
