★★★★★ One of the best books of 2016 for me, thus far.

Wow. We knew what was coming from the blurb and the previous books, but still, wow!
The Humans First & Last were absolutely clueless as to what was out in the wild zones and in their small-minded way, greedy as all f*ck. They tried diversion tactics in Thasia but as the Others said, they watch and learn from other predators.
Life will certainly be a lot harder in the aftermath, both for the humans and the others.
So want the next book right now!!!!!!

You know when you are hanging out for a book and you have to wait a long time and then you get it and you stare in awe at it, handle it like a precious and then you start reading it... and all of a sudden you're finished. I am really enjoying this series, I can see myself picking it up time and time again.
So much happened in this one and I don't want to spoil it. Lots of action, the terra indigene retaliated, some deaths where too quick, lots where violent and changes are happening. So many little things made me chuckle and I'm not sure how to voice them without giving too much away, so I'll leave it there.
