Four solid stars. A fast-paced, enjoyable read with some great one-liners. I work in the medical field, so it was nice to read a paranormal book about an underground hospital run by a demon that still managed to reflect the author’s accurate medical knowledge. I enjoyed her sense of humor also.

If you love a new, fun twist to the paranormal romances you normally read, this is the book for you! That is as long as you don't mind sex ... lots of steamy sex, but sex that totally fits within the storyline and isn't just thrown in without reason. ;)

Throughout the book there was an interesting theme of "what/who is good/evil?" going on, and just because you trust someone doesn't mean they are deserving of that trust. Tayla is a demon slayer who wakes up in a hospital that caters to demons. Her doctor Eidolon just happens to be a gorgeous demon who is looking for a mate.

Tayla who has never relied on anyone before finds herself attracted to this man/demon and needing him in her life.
Eidolon is like a night in shining armor, he saves her life, gives her the best sex she has ever had, and protects her.
Eildolon helps Tayla accept things about herself that she never would of thought were possible.
