Finally getting to ready the story of how Gideon and Savannah became mated. Ironically, my favorite thing about the story was getting more info on Tegan's past.

I liked this look into how Gideon and Savannah met, but I have to say it seemed out of character for the Savannah from later books for her to ask Gideon to give up fighting--but that's just a nit for me.

Ever since I started reading this series, I wondered about the back story of Gideon and Savannah. They were already a couple in Kiss of Midnight. Now this novella explains how they came to be together. I do wish it was just a little longer.
