"Now I have something to prove to you," he said. "I promise you, I will win, and by the time I'm done, you won't walk, you'll run to jump into my bed."
I have been waiting for this book for so long and it's finally here and it was so good. I will read anything that Ilona Andrews writes, because the story is always amazing with great plot, dialogue and characters you will love.

While no author (or in this case, team) is perfect, this is the third Ilona Andrews series (along with Kate Daniels and The Edge) for which I will be eagerly awaiting the next installment. Don't fret the bodice ripper cover, this is pure paranormal urban fantasy with enough paranormal romance on the side to keep it fun. Grandma repairs tanks in the garage while Mom and her sniper rifle hang in the crow's nest as part of a well rounded and entertaining ensemble of supporting characters. Primes ar

It was amazing. I cannot wait for the next book.
Is far more romantic oriented than Kate Daniels and Innkeeper but I really like Nevada and her family. I love that there's really no love triangle, and that Adam Pierce is treated as the douchebag he is, where in any other romantic book it would be the hero.
Nevada is intelligent and resourceful, she doesn't take any crap and she is a coherent character. But it's not the female characters that are a problem for Ilona Andrews, if anything I could cr ...more

Nevada and Mad/Connor
Adam Pierce is burning places in Huston. P. I. Nevada is forced to take on the task of capturing Adam alive and taking him back to his Family/House.
Mad Rogan starts out looking for Adam but find following Nevada maybe an easier way to find Adam.
Mad and Nevada reluctantly work together to try and figure out what Adam is doing and set out to catch him.
Love this story and couple. I’m immediately starting the next book in the series.

This was a rare miss from Ilona Andrews. I had high hopes for this book, but honestly nothing about this story was all that interesting to me. I had to struggle to finish it. I didn't care for any of the characters, especially Nevada and Mad Rogan, and I didn't connect with their chemistry at all. Nevada was a boring character and Mad Rogan read like a Curran knockoff.
