I really need to pick up more books by Diana Rowland. White Trash Zombie Apocalypse was laugh out loud hilarious. The story is told from the point of view of Angel, a zombie who works at the local coroner's office because it has a ready supply of ....brains! Such a great book. I get a little rambly so the main points are bolded.
I absolutely adore Angel. She definitely has a messed up past but isn't bogged down with baggage and she makes the best of what she's got, she has a wicked snarky humor, enjoys cuddling and allows herself to be taken care of but is also strong and independent, she is super caring and protective of loved ones and has her morals but is definitely okay with a little payback. another great afventure with my favorite Zombie, as she uncover another plot that might be deadly for her and others not affected by the zombie parasite.
Zombies are in town! Well, that's nothing new for Angel - after all she's one herself, but these zombies are fake and are here in order to film a movie. But then dead bodies start showing up...
Unfortunately I didn't enjoy this instalment as much as the previous ones. The story wasn't very well paced and included a rather convoluted plotline, the romance between Angel and Marcus still doesn't convince me and the overall tone of the story wasn't as much fun as in previous books.
