"The Raven" is DNF #100!!! Woohoo!!

Oh wait...should I really be celebrating that I've spent hours of my time reading sucky books? Being as I'm a glass-half-full kind of gal (at least some of the time), I'm focusing on the positive.

Meh, well written enough but it reads like fan fiction. Handsome supernatural stranger sees the crippled, overweight, plain Jane (Jane is even her real name) and looks past the surface and makes her beautiful and thin and perfect, but then he doesn't care how she looks and tells her he wants her back at her "healthy weight." -_- No. Overweight isn't healthy, I should know. re-read.... It was MUCH better for me the second time around. It helped A LOT knowing this was going to be a paranormal romance. It bothered me the first time I read it, because I was expecting a 'normal' romance book with nothing supernatural to it. The description of the book is not clear and gave no real indication that there would be anything supernatural happening. I had a hard time finishing this book the first time. It was worth the second chance and I would recommend people try it again. ...more
