A nice enough story about a wolf Wyr detective and a witness of a crime he's investigating and his new found mate.

I'd figured out who the bad guy was early on and wasn't surprised when he made his move.
The story is not really connected to the previous books so it can easily be read out of order or even not at all.
The series continues with the story of the new Oracle and the Djinn Prince we met in the previous book in Oracle's Moon.

This was quick maybe because the mating was just as quick. Not match exploration of relationships but I suppose thats due to "instant" mating.
