I have begun to like this series, I have, but the amount of inner monologuing all the characters do in it just puts me off! It makes me skim pages and then I feel guilty for doing so. They harp about the simplest of things ad nauseam.
What's more, my previous complaints remain as is—every member of the supernatural squad sounds like the same person. This might get resolved if only the author wouldn't write pages and pages of inner dialogues for everyone. The pacing is still askew.
