One of the alternate bookcovers for Shifting Shadows, by Dan dos Santos.★★★★½ (This is a review of the audiobook.) There are two narrators for this anthology: Alexander Cendese and Lorelei King, who both read wonderfully, and differentiate the characters nicely. I got this for the new stories. The rest I've read before.
Silver-
I was interested to read about how it began for Samuel and Bran and they were made werewolves. Man, this was depressing and sad.
Fairy Gifts-
Wasn't really feeling this one all that much. Had Thomas in it (and I think he made an appearance in book 7? 8?)
Roses in Winter-
Enjoyed reading about Asil's softer, kinder side. Kara might be an interesting character and I hope she reappears again.
Redemption-
This was interesting to read about ...more

Enjoyed most of these shorties & outtakes.
Wish Ben's story Redemption was longer. Always felt he was a bit misunderstood.
Kara's story was lovely and showed a loving side to Asil as well.
The Zombie was unexpected though I must of read it before cause it seemed familiar.
And The Star of David was sad but with a HEA. ...more
