Really enjoyed this one. A very feisty h and a badass alpha bear.

We had fists, frying pans, silver buckshot and that was before she'd known him 2 days. LOL. Teach him to sneak around and change into a bear.

Looking forward to Jan & Boris's story.

This one was a fun romp for me. I like Bear Shifters so this worked. I am looking forward to the other books in the series. We get a Moose Shifter hero which is fun.

This was a pretty run of the mill sexy shifter book but made for a nice afternoon.

Really enjoyed this book and if the heroines are anything like Tammy I know I will enjoy the rest in the series.

I laughed so hard, and I think that is the first time I have had that reaction to a book by this author. So laughing and watching these two fall for each other is the most fun I have had reading in a while.

Reid is a shifter, a Kodiak bear to be exact, and he is alpha his clan. The clan is not all bears either, which I thought was strange, but fit with this story well. He has been hav

A book away from an episode of hoarders
Knowing Eve Langlais’ work already, I wasn’t disappointed in this one. It was fun and steamy. Not as much as some of her other works but, a good way to spend the afternoon.

Tammy, our MC, is an insurance investigator sent to Kodiak Point, Alaska to look into truck shipments that Reid Carver’s company has reported stolen. Three shipments, actually, and foul play was evident at all of them. Of course, our MC has no idea that she hitched a ride into town with shifters and that Mr. Carver, is a Kodia

I was first introduced to Eve's Kodiak Point when I read her short Caribou's Gift in the anthology Kiss of Christmas Magic and I knew I'd be returning soon.
"I’m alpha. We don’t ask. We Declare."
I enjoyed getting to know Kodiak's grumpy Alpha and CEO of Beark Enterprises, Reid Carver. His company and pack are under attack and, while he's been expecting a claims adjuster to investigate recent thefts, he didn't expect the curvy, sassy, sharpshooter Tammy. His bear is all-in and Rick k

Kodiak's Claim is usual Eve Langlais - smart, mouthy, bossy girl meets smart, mouthy, bossy girl - this time a Kodiak bear shifter. Sparks fly and things work out once they realize they're fated mates and the bad guys are taken care of. This is good stuff, but not great. Not Langlais' usual, more inspired works.

What I enjoyed about this piece:
- The cold Alaskan setting, as I read this book in the hot, humid Florida swampland.
- The variety of shifters. Our Kodiak bear shifter is the Alpha of his

I really liked it but am kind of sick of a person meeting another one, they are attracted to them, and fall in bed and in love right away...Not a fan of wham bamm thank you maam...I love shifter books but much prefer urban fantasy..a bit of sex and lots of action and adventure. I don't know why I always choose these kinds of books because I am so sick of I meet her and she's my mate and I want to screw her now kinds of books! ...more

I loved this one like all of Eve's books. Her shifters are fantastic and I loved how growly and laid back Reid was and how feisty Tammy was. It's nice to see a curvier girl getting a HEA without all the putdowns and self hate. I'll definitely be reading the next one! ...more
