My sister handed me this book a while back and I was reluctant to read it at first. The back of the book made me cringe so badly, I thought I might never read it. But she took my recommendations to read BDB so I owed her that much.
Though I have plenty of issues with the writing style, the use of slang and what not, but I quickly found myself enjoying it.

I love Charlaine Harris, that’s why I gave this book a try. The book was entertaining, hilarious and a quick read. Than why did I give it 3 out of 5 stars ( more like 3 1/2 stars)? The heroine (Betsy Taylor) became more of a nuisance than a charismatic diva after awhile. She reminded me of toddler, cute, cuddly, chewable, and fun but if I have to listen to them talk non-stop for 5 hours, my brain will hemorrhage.
