A quick read but nothing really worthwhile in it. Felt like more of a manual for a used car salesman than a book that you could apply to normal life. Most of the advice is mainly common sense. Things that I feel is common to do. Treat people with respect, listen to them, etc. Not quite sure what the person who recommended this to me thought I would get out of it.

Part One: Fundamental Techniques in Handling People
Don’t criticize, condemn, or complain. (It rarely helps the situation)
Give honest sincere appreciation.
Arouse in the other person an eager want.
Part Two: Six Ways To Make People Like You
Become genuinely interested in other people.
Smile.
Remember that a person’s name is to that person the sweetest and most important sound in any language.
