I have to say this is still not one of my favorite series, but they are always good solid reads. Specially now that Faythe is starting to mature and see the reality of the shifter world! Not everything had to revolve around Princess Sanders! Thank God!
OK, so in this book Faythe in on trial for # 1 - infecting her ex-boyfriend by accident, turning him into a Stray and # 2 - for killing him! Faythe goes on trial, and it turns out there's a pretty good chance she'll get the "death penalty". Yes, ta ...more

Ok, this book was very good. I liked it better than the first 2. It managed to draw me in and not want to put it down. Now that I've finished the book, I just want to jump into the next book in the series to continue the story.
The plot is very well developed. The conflicts are constant, and intriguing. Even though I hate the werecat politics, it gave insight into the characters. I feel like the main character, Faythe is growing up and maturing, which is really good to see. I hate it when charac ...more

May have slight spoilers.
In author Rachel Vincent's third novel of her Shifters series Pride we pick up at Faythe’s trial.
In the last novel we found out that Faythe had accidentally turned her ex-boyfriend into a werecat, which is a death sentence. Seeing as she is female and said she did it accidentally though she is going on trial for them to decide her fate. Not only that but to make things worse, Andrew said human ex turned werecat is now dead, Faythe having killed him in self-defense. But t ...more

If you've read my previous reviews for this Rachel Vincent Shifter series you know i have mixed feelings about it. Pride is book three and sees Faythe growing up a lot, she still has her spontaneous streak that sometimes lands her in hot water but overall her maturity was nice to see. Faythe is dealing with the fall out of 'Rogue' killing her ex boyfriend in defence has her before the council on charges of murder, if she can't prove she didn't deliberately change him and then kill him ...more

I rate this book 5 stars. This book had way more action from start to finish than the other two. I'm Really enjoying this series but, after a cliffhanger like that one I don't know what to do if Mark isn't going to be in the next one as much. I'm really liking him more so, after this book and I feel for Faythe she's trying real hard to grow up.

Couldn't put it down. Edge of your seat action and a vicious fury that keeps you cringing.
